Community Time
Community Time is our chance to connect and reconnect with the larger SUUSI community. We gather together in the afternoons for intergenerational fun, frolic, and festivities.
Each year, we choose different themes for community time.
In 2006, our community sundance had a theme of Community SunDance.The name was chosen to honor the spirit of the Sun Dance, a ceremony practiced by some Native American tribes. We dedicated the time towards time for renewal, sharing, rejuvenation and play as a community. Throughout the week there were various ceremonies honoring commitments, friendships and other important bonds within our community, such as marriage vows, friendship and parent-child relationships.

- Tuesday: Create and share
- Wednesday: Groovy TUUNES
- Thursday: Play day
- Friday: Decorate and rejuvenate
In 2007, we added more music into the mix and themes included:
- Monday: Street Fair
- Tuesday: Community Concert, Kym Tuvim
- Wenesday: Play Day & Diagon Alley HP Party
- Thursday: Community Concert, Beaucoup Blue
